Is there a way of finding archived threads?
|
Was just thinking about the old view from threads and wouldn’t mind rereading the one with Lawro and/or Adrian Chiles
Loved waiting up for MOTD to see if he’d say the phrase he promised to say to prove it was him.

I remember that thread. Pretty sure GTHC said he wouldn't be saying anything on tv to prove it was him.

Chiles did though.
And Jason Roberts did what he promised too.

Ah, that’s a shame.
There is a website called web.archive.org that let’s you view archives of WHO.

I can’t remember what Chiles said he would say, but in his summing up at the end he did it.
Jason Roberts said after waving to the home fans at Ewood park he’d walk towards the half way line and wave to the West Ham fans.
I got it on camera at the time, but that’s long gone now.
The Lawro interview was over the phone which I recorded as he doesn’t do email. He came across as a really decent bloke actually. Even laughed at the question about Liverpool having black armbands sewn into their kit to save time

At the time, it was Blackburn Roberts was playing for, wasn't he?
If so, these are the dates he played against us for Blackburn: 7 May 2011 (scored) 18 December 2010 30 January 2010 (came on as a sub) 29 August 2009 21 March 2009 30 August 2008 15 March 2008 9 December 2007 (sub - not used) 17 Mar 2007 29 October 2006 (injured and subbed after 28 mins)
